
EdgeOne Fire™ comprises our heat treated Fire-Wire™ NiTi-Material for root canal preparation in inverse-reciprocating motion and can be used with standard motors and handpieces as well from other brands (e.g. WaveOne® Gold, VDW®, BA optima E, etc.)
The service life of EdgeOne Fire in the cyclic fatigue test is approximately twice that of EdgeOne® Gold (cf. J Clin Dent 2019; 11(7):e609-13).
EdgeOne Fire™ is sterile packaged and available in Small, Primary, Medium, and Large sizes. The files have a parallelogram cross section with variable conicity. Each pack contains three files. There are also assortment packs and packs with only one size. Available in lengths of 21mm, 25mm and 31mm.
EdgeOne Fire™ is designed with a varied taper and shapes canals in reverse-reciprocating motion.

*Gambarini et al. (J Clin Dent 2019;11(7):e609-13) report that our EdgeEndo Fire instruments, manufactured using our proprietary FireWire treatment, have increased resistance to cyclic fatigue than Dentsply’s WaveOne® Gold instruments of the same dimensions. At 28.00 seconds (SD +/- 2.64), the average service life of the EdgeEndo Fire instruments is about twice as high as that of the tested WaveOne® Gold instruments at 14.67 seconds (SD +/- 2.41).

EdgeOne Fire™ GlidePath is designed to shape the canal in reverse-reciprocating motion just like EdgeOne Fire™. EdgeOne Fire™ GlidePath comes in lengths 21mm, 25mm, and 31mm.
